I just finished reading, Temptation Bay by Anna Sullivan. While I enjoyed the plot, I found it a little too long for my liking. It is about a kidnapped heiress at the turn of the century. Problem is that there was a huge explosion and nobody knows if the heiress who was an infant at the time, survived.
Present day, a private eye is sent to the secluded island to find out if the heiress survived and more importantly if any of her offspring is living today. There is romance and suspense and full disclosure, you don't find out what happens as there is a sequel! What a disappointment! I really wanted to know how things ended.
